The Very American Weekends.

So this is a little late… but better late than never right?!  So I had an amazing last two weekends actually! This whole living thing is getting easier and a lot more fun when friends come to visit. Pittsburgh is surely starting to make a place in my heart (as cheesy as that sounds) and I think I am starting to like it a lot.  I think the more you let something in, the more you allow yourself to like it. In the beginning of June I was not for this city really at all. But after you know accepting I am here and going to do things on my own and new things with my friends the easier it is to live here and of course the more fun it is.
So Pittsburgh, I am here and loving it right now! So, I have a lot of photos to show you guys of the past weekends and boy, was it fun.
First photos: Pirates game. The Pirates is Pittsburgh’s professional team of baseball and I enjoy a game but I think it’s the cities’ view in the stadium that really makes it the reason I go there. Who ever created this stadium- a thousand awesome points to you because it is unbelievable. I am pretty sure it is the best view you can have of the city on a really clear day. Seriously, just look below because I feel like you can then understand.  Also some of my best friends are featured!  Let me take an second to introduce to them. Nathan is the shorter of the boys with the sunglasses (we have to forgive him for those- “they are sports sunglasses Ashley” –whatever!) and then theres Donny who is the tall boy who’s recent hair change has made him think he is the best around. Foolish boys! And then there’s Cait who is my longest best friend (8 years guys!) and she’s the most hilarious person you will ever meet.

Now on to the fourth of July. Oh, America happy birthday!  Casey  (roommate) and I took it upon ourselves to have people over for the fourth and it was actually more fun than ever anticipated. I never obviously had the chance to have people over a place of mine so it was awesome. I made store bought cupcakes and it was everything I imagined. We had a great time just enjoying each other’s company. Another awesome thing we got to do was watch the fireworks off the 10th Street bridge in the southside of Pittsburgh. AMAZING. The pictures make it look like they were really far away but they were beautiful. Also, the fireworks reflected off the buildings  and the river which was probably the coolest thing to see. The perks of city life I am starting to see.

I am sure loving you Pittsburgh.

So to anyone who reads this- how has your July been?! I want to hear all about your stories and if you have a blog link it below so I can explore some of your lives.
