Stop looking.

While talking to one of my good friends today I really thought about how so many girls worry about finding that special someone --myself included. I will literally call my best friend up and we can discuss that topic for hours but lately I have been realizing that it is not what right now is about. For me, you, or anyone. It is hard to not think about especially being a girl, we drive ourselves crazy about who one day will be our husband. Social media does not make it any better either. There's tumblr to relate to everyone feeling this way, Pinterest to plan that wedding when you are not even seeing a boy, and then twitter to tweet the lyrics of you loving someone when you haven't talked to a man in about a week... I am guilty to all of those above! I mean it is hard not to! I think that a boy is that answer girls look for to their problems and insecurities in their own lives. But it is not. I think it took a breakup for me to realize this. Another person cannot make you happy only YOU can make yourself happy. Even if someone loved you so incredible much, if you did not love yourself first it may be very hard to let them in. So now what you need to do is not worry about that boy who doesn't give you the time of day, don't worry about having a date to prom, don't worry about not being married at 25, don't worry about having a boyfriend in college, and don't worry about what he thinks. Because when you stop looking for this "boy" you can learn about yourself, love yourself, and have all the confidence in the world about being you. And once you stop looking, think about all the other items in life you are ignoring like traveling, exploring, and just having fun with friends? Because when you finally do meet him, you will be able to give all of you to him. You will be completely comfortable and happy with yourself which will make it all the better. So fuck it and stop looking for Mr. Right because he is going to show up one day and it will be just as all the stories go. And when you stop looking, you truly find what you need in life at that moment. So just relax, love your life, and know how blessed you are and remember how great and wonderful you truly are. Because seriously you are.

Christmas Spirit

Sometimes Christmas just sneaks up upon us and I am not content with that! So since we are LESS than a month away from this holiday I decided to post some pictures of the lovely holiday to get us all in the spirit :) Christmas is the coziest, happiest, and greatest time of year and I hope you are all going to have the best holiday season there is!

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE.

Good evening all! This mood seems to come over me from time to time when I literally want to hop in a car, go to the airport and buy a ticket to the next plane going somewhere new, fun, and exciting. I am not sure if this happens to any of you but I feel like after I get off of my Tumblr account or Pinterest I feel very jaded and feel as if i need to go everywhere in the world right at this very minute. Being a sophomore college student I obviously cannot do this but how lovely would it be to......

Go to England and be the one taking this picture and while that is happening a very handsome British boy asks to take your picture and you are all like "oh of course cheerio lets get married, okay? okay, bye." At least thats what happens in my head. 

And then you go to Prague ever so casually. Walking the cobblestone streets in your perfect outfit and you are hungry and what hungry people do is eat food so you go to that great fast food place that doesn't look like a McDonalds. The food is delicious and you have the best food coma/food baby ever.

Oh? Germany you say? How great because you love food and boys and luckily Germany has both. And nicely painted houses and then nicely placed castle/church next to them. 

Then hop on over to Italy to not only be drinking the best wine in the world but as you are doing that listening to the Lizzie McGuire soundtrack with your best friend who came with you. " You always dress in yellow when you want to dress in gold." But both of you will be wearing gold because you are in Italy having pizza and wine and basking in it. 

Lastly, you find yourself in beautiful Greece. Your wardrobe suddenly consists of everything Alex Bledel wears in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. You meet your greek lover and you both are on a sailboat with some baklava and having just the nicest of times. And you tan and do not burn, so you are for sure a goddess after the trip. 

Ahhhhh, see how wonderful it all would be? Haha, but really with daydreaming aside, it would be amazing to just see all the places the world has to over besides Ohio. I love Ohio but I want to see so much more! I for sure will one day, I'll post the pictures even whenever that is. These are the times I wish airplanes rides were free and school wasn't a thing. Well, back to tumbling and wishing more of my life away.
