My thoughts.

Its weird to think about. Relationships. There are friendships, family relationships, bad relationships, happy relationships, short term relationships, boring relationships. Just about any type of relationship you can think of there has been, will be, or in the process of happening in our world today. No wonder it is so hard in getting them right. I just want get out there you know? I think in the spot I am with university it is hard to so. It is so comfortable where I am but I want to make guy friends for goodness sake. But then there is the problem of do you dig this guy friend or can you just be friends. Couldn't you be born with a name assigned to you saying oh hey this is the person you are going to end up with. I am pretty sure that would make alot of things in this world so much better. It's honest, to the point, and clear. But then of course there's that whole argument of where is the fun in that? Which is true. Don't really enjoy summer without a really rough winter. Haha did I really just make waiting for summer a comparison to trying to find a boy? Well, I guess that is what things are coming to these days... Besides relationships being shit, I think ideas of people are shit as well. For some odd reason girls do this thing where we look at a guy and talk to them for .02 seconds and think they are this God sent human being that we are going to marry and have blonde hair babies with and maybe with his lips and hopefully my eyes. But in reality, their shit is not together and when we start talking to them their idea crumbles of what we had for them and then that is its own mess and everything is just not what it is. I think from now on, when I start talking to a guy, I am just going to take it. So yeah he may not want to go into the medical field but he seems to really like his family like I like mine. Or yeah he be such a total tool with his guy friends but lets be real I am a total priss with my girl friends. I mean when the guys an asshole hes an asshole and steppin. But i think I sometimes have this total unrealistic idea of a person in my head. I think we all need a little bit of accepting the good with the bad. I dont know where I am getting at....  maybe that just everyone has something wrong with them. I know that I can be self centered at times, awful at conflict, and I dont have the best body. I guess if I can accept that about myself then I should be able to accept it about another person as well. I am now just rambling..... haha

Part 1-Choosing Happy

Enjoy today. 

Look around you. You may not have the perfect life you have always envisioned but never, ever let that stop you for enjoying the moments and little things of today. Today might be the day for divorce papers, saying goodbye to a loved one, a new promotion (you deserve it!), a boring day, or the day of your wedding (congrats!). Whatever day it may be soak it in. You have an awful no good day? Bad days are inevitable but if you think about what is good and positive at the moment then maybe that bad day wont be so bad. You may have lost your job but that still doesn’t make you any less of a person. You are an awesome human being that now gets a chance to explore a new job or even make a life change in your career. Think about how amazing that is.  Take the time to enjoy the traffic jam on the way to work; you can discover great music that you may have never heard otherwise. Be thankful for the person who spills coffee on you—you needed to get rid of that shirt anyways. It is all about perspective. It can be a really, really good boring day or it could be a really bad boring day. The choice is up to you. Today is now and there is no going back.

10 Reasons I (and now probably you) want to be British.

Why I love America but belong in the UK:

TEN REASONS WHY I SHOULD BE BRITISH

1. One Direction. Just seriously. I am twenty years old and I can't lie about the fact that my best friends and I are completely smitten. It's their music, attitude, and pure adorableness that pull me in. My 70 year old grandmother is even fond of them. I feel like that has to say something!
2. Tea. England people enjoy it and so do I. We Would make the best pair then. Who's up for a tea party?
3. The Accent. There are many accents but seriously how does theres sound like smooth jazz? (Horrible metaphor but you know what I mean.) It melts me like butter on a skillet.
4. Clothing. I have seen so many haul videos that include stores like Boots or Primark. WHEN CAN I FINALLY GO TO ONE?
5. The Queen reminds me of my grandmother in the best way possible. She's absolutely adorable and I'd love to hug her.
6. MEN. From what it seems to be they seem to actually be proper. Mind you I have such an american mindset and I am sure there are the assholes as there always is. However, they also seem more resevered. Im a sucker for a shyer man. 
7.Music Scene. BASTILLE, BEATLES, ONE DIRECTION, MCFLY, BUSTED. I have to say my favorite bands hail from across the pond, just another reason I need to be there.
8. The beautiful villages or towns as Americans call them. I watch a lot of youtube videos about people in England and they absolutely live in the most adorable towns. I think that since England has been around for so long it adds such great character to even the towns.
9. London. The mecca. I will probably faint the day I step onto that ground and then run and get a picture of Big Ben. History meets city and that is so beautiful. They have cobblestone streets and lovely looking shops. And now I am daydreaming...
10. Harry Potter. Like come on you were expecting it. J.K. Rowling is a pure genius and the UK is responsible for this.

Internet People.

I just wanted to take the time out to say something you all ( all meaning anyone who reads this blog where as I am not really sure who does, if you do you are lovely, but anyways on to the post..) so something you probably know by being internet people yourself and that is that you are all blooming AWESOME. I don't think I have ever felt more happy knowing that other people obsess over the same things I do for example: one direction (Liam you have my heart), makeup, being single (and not so ready to mingle), and just for knowing what can make me laugh until I cry. Tumblr and Bloglovin is so responsible for this. Tumblr makes me feel like I am not the lonliest person and the world and Bloglovin lets me live out my dream life in other people's fascinating lives. Youtube to make me love people I don't know and make me aware of products that I simply can't afford. Then Buzzfeed to make me know what is going on in the world but at the same time be HILARIOUS. Is it healthy? No. But I am not talking about being healthy! So thank you Internet for making me laugh until I cry and having the best sense of humor ever. Now, if only a boy could make me laugh like you all.... then we would have another thing comin.

OH YEAH HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR. 2014 IS GOING TO BE THE BEST YEAR!

Sad feelings.

These days don't happen very often for me. Or even moods rather. I tend to think I am really an optimistic person and truly try to make things funny or positive for everyone else. But that is also one of my biggest downfalls. I tend to hide my feelings in order, not for everything to feel "okay", but just because to me there are things that can go so much worse in my life that I really shouldn't feel that sad. But it just gets to me at the most random times. Like tonight. I am alone. My friends are all with their families, my family has gone to bed and I am just sitting my the Christmas tree. I do have so much to be thankful for- parents who love me, siblings that I love, food, and a warm house. But I think sometimes when something happens in my life that I do not quite enjoy I put it in a box and seal it up. I did so with a breakup that had happened this year. They were a great person but it wasn't true to me so it ended. But in the midst of that happening, this person changed so much and I just happened to come across a photo of him when he was truly who I thought I loved and it is just a little heart breaking. I know not really anyone reads my blog but if you are reading this have you ever felt that way? So I am just a little bit sad because of that and because sometimes when you are all surrounded by happy couples (which I am glad for, go on and be a truly, lovely, happy couple!) it can be sometimes hard to shake some feelings. And also, it is so hard to be that person who is there for people and in that moment when you need to talk or just need a vent they cannot answer. I think a true friendship is a give and take. Not a take, take, take, take. Do not be selfish with friendships. Friendships are what make us, us. These are the people you choose put yourself with and make sure it is a good bunch. I have the very best friends in the world. Just some I think I care too much about which is hard to digest. weeellllll then, okay I am done with sadness. BECAUSE TOMORROW IS CHRISTMAS EVE. haha but for anyone who is reading thank you for staying this far and most importantly if you are feeling down, never hesitate to message or comment, I am always up for a listen. And most importantly, if you are feeling down, then by golly (haha), feel that way because no one can tell you how to feel. Those are your feelings and by being human you have the right to feel them. Phew, now that is done I feel loads better and I am going to drink my weight in egg nog and christmas cookies.

Picture a day.

So, even though it is the middle of December but I have made some resolutions that I am going to start now and starting January 1st, 2014. I have some simple but challenging resolutions and I am pretty excited about them!
1. TRY and go somewhere out of the country in 2014.
2. Take a photo EVERY day, no matter what I can achieve one photo for each day. How great would that be to compile all of it at the end of next year?!
3. 13.1 miles run it in Pittsburgh in May. YES YES YES.
4. Do the warrior dash.
5. Be happy with my fitness 
6. Go with the flow and do new things all of the time.
